Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Motor Transportation Mechanic for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program in the Philippines.

The role involves installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing motor transportation equipment for MCPP-PHIL under a one-year overseas assignment, reporting to the Motor Transportation Maintenance Supervisor. Qualification includes US citizenship, ability to pass a Secret clearance, automotive maintenance training or equivalent, and at least four years of related work

Qualifications

Must pass a U.S. Government/FBI background investigation and obtain a Secret Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this position.
Completion of Automotive Maintenance Technician course or similar; or combination of college credits/certification and related work experience.
Must have 4 years of directly related work experience.
Ability to review technical specifications and requirements.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute motor transportation maintenance for MCPP-PHIL and organic equipment.
Perform maintenance actions including repair, adjustment, servicing, and storage of motor transportation equipment.
Support equipment readiness, maintenance shop organization, and control of maintenance assets.
Review invoices and requisitions to plan work activities.
Maintain proficiency in all maintenance functions.
Inventory repair parts and requisition replacement stock.
Provide requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies.
Comply with safety regulations and government procedures.
