MCPP Philippines: Motor Transport Mechanic role under KBR, Inc. involves performing maintenance, repair, and servicing of motor transportation equipment for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines.

The position requires security clearance, and travel to Philippines with a one-year commitment, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. Basic qualifications include 4 years of related experience, automotive maintenance training or equivalent education, a valid U.S.

Qualifications

Must pass a U.S. Government/FBI background check and obtain a Secret clearance.
Completion of Automotive Maintenance Technician course or related training.
In lieu of formal training, a combination of college credits, professional certification, or other education, and directly related work experience may be considered.
Must have 4 years of directly related work experience.
Ability to review technical specifications and requirements.
Must be able to analyze maintenance, repair, or operation to determine methods of improvement.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
U.S. Stateside Driver’s License.
U.S. Passport.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Philippines Work Visa.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance actions that follow the contract Statement of Work and Marine Corps policy.
Repair, adjust, service, and store motor transportation equipment and systems.
Support equipment readiness and maintenance shop organization; review invoices and requisitions to plan work activities.
Maintain proficiency in all maintenance functions.
Inventory repair parts and requisition replacements.
