Job summary

Maynilad Water Services is looking for an Engineering Assistant (Non-Licensed Engineer) to join their team in Quezon City, Philippines. The successful candidate will perform site inspections, validate compliance of work, and assist with project documentation.

This position is suitable for engineering graduates, preferably in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, and although no experience is necessary, relevant internship experience will be a strong advantage. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office and may have knowledge of AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering course preferably in Civil Engineering (CE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME).
• Preferably holds a valid driver’s license.
• No work experience required, but related internship/experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing site inspections of all works activities and Capex projects.
• Validate compliance with Maynilad Standard Drawings and Specifications.
• Prepare inspection and progress reports as required.

Engineering Assistant (Non-Licensed Engineer)

Perform activities relative to EMF Replacement, Pressure tapping (leakage Hotspot) and Asset Validation and Raising (Geotagged) thru Telemetry All Works Conduct site inspections of All works activities and Capex projects of Telemetry

• Conduct on-going site inspections of All works activities and Capex projects of Telemetry
• Join with contractor during stakeouts
• Validate compliance of work in accordance with Maynilad Standard Drawings and Specifications
• Prepare inspection reports
• Assist in billing inspections
• Review and validate the Job Order Accomplishment Reports (JOAR) or Weekly Accomplishment Reports (WAR)
• Assist the contractors in permit acquisition as needed
• Maintains, organizes, and updates project documentation subject to audit.
• Prepares report as required by the FMM Head/Officer or immediate superior.
• Prepares progress/monthly report
• Ensures materials availability
• Ensures Safety Compliance with the contractors
• MD for the newly replaced meter

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL LICENSES

• Graduate of Engineering course preferably CE or ME
• Preferably with Valid driver’s license

WORK EXPERIENCE

• May hire no work experience, but a related internship/experience will make a stronger candidate.
