Liberty Commercial Center Inc. in Legazpi is seeking a Supervisor, General Business and Operational Compliance Services (Energy Compliance) to lead the energy compliance function. You will oversee a team, ensure adherence to regulations, and coordinate with internal departments and external authorities.
You will monitor energy usage, prepare mandatory reports, drive continuous improvement of energy management systems, and provide training to staff while reporting to senior management.
The Supervisor, General Business and Operational Compliance Services (Energy Compliance) is responsible for leading the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of energy-related compliance activities across the organization. This role ensures that all operations adhere to applicable laws, regulations, internal standards, and sustainability objectives. The supervisor will manage a compliance team, oversee reporting processes, and coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to support the organization’s energy compliance framework.
Supervise daily operations of the energy compliance team under the GBOCS unit.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international energy and environmental regulations (e.g., DOE, ISO 50001).
Monitor and track energy consumption and performance indicators for reporting and auditing purposes.
Lead the preparation and submission of mandatory energy compliance reports.
Identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions to ensure full adherence to policies and standards.
Support the development and continuous improvement of energy management systems and procedures.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Facilities, Engineering, Procurement) to ensure alignment with compliance requirements.
Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for the compliance team.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and respond to inquiries, inspections, and audits.
Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management highlighting compliance performance and risks.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Energy Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in energy compliance, environmental compliance, or regulatory operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
Proven experience in leading compliance audits and process improvements.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and compliance management systems.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
