You will collaborate with the Section Leader and Director of Operations to align priorities, coach junior staff, review timesheets, and advance career development while delivering excellent client outcomes. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
• Proven experience in the power generation industry—thermal, renewable, or combined-cycle.
• Previous leadership or team management experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, industry codes, and project management practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Business awareness and interest in contributing to commercial, client, and resourcing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral care, supporting team wellbeing, engagement, and day-to-day guidance.
• Assist with resource planning and balance workload across the team.
• Support the Section Leader and Director of Operations with communication, team focus, and reinforcing strategic priorities.
• Review weekly timesheets and ensure accurate, timely submissions.
• Conduct or support career and performance conversations with team members.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and career support for junior and mid-level staff.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Advocate for and help bring to life Jacobs’ Culture of Caring, Inclusion & Diversity, and strategic initiatives such as Focus 20/100.
