Job summary

MSpectrum Inc. is a solar power company delivering renewable energy solutions for industrial, commercial, and residential customers. This role provides electrical engineering expertise and translates strategic directions into tactical programs aligned with the Company’s objectives.

The engineer will perform engineering design processes, develop and maintain standards, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices within the RE industry.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in commercial solar power.
• Proficient in MS Applications.
• Strong knowledge in design tools, CAD drawing, and regulatory standards (PEC, UL, IEC, NEC, etc.).

This role provides electrical engineering expertise and performs engineering design processes in order to provide renewable energy (RE) solutions for industrial, commercial, and residential customers, and translates strategic directions into operational tactics and programs / initiatives aligned with and fully supportive of the Company’s thrusts and objectives.

Qualifications:

• BS Electrical Engineering graduate

• Licensed Electrical Engineer

• With at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in commercial solar power

• Proficient in MS Applications

• With technical competencies on the following key areas:

• > Operational planning

• > Project/client electrical requirements analysis

• > Detailed electrical engineering design and solutions development

• > Research and development on engineering design methodologies, new RE technologies, software, design tools and best practices

• > Strong working knowledge and application of various design tools, software and CAD drawing

• > Outsourcing services, contract monitoring and management of third party service provider

• > Understanding and application of various basic rules, standards and codes and including regulations (e.g. PEC, UL, IEC, NEC, PDC, Safety, DOE/ERC/DOLE/OSHA, etc.)

• > Strong working knowledge of industry and vendor materials and equipment specifications, standards and performance assessment

• > Materials standards and design template development
