Job summary

A leading energy firm is seeking a Business Development Lead to originate and manage energy infrastructure projects across North America. The role requires strong B2B origination skills, and the successful candidate will work directly with commercial and industrial clients. Key responsibilities include building a personal pipeline, managing financial agreements, and working closely with cross-functional teams. This position offers an uncapped commission structure, with first-year earnings expected between $200,000–$250,000.

Qualifications

• 7 to 12 years of experience in B2B commercial origination, business development, or structured sales roles.
• Proven experience closing financed, long-term contracted assets between $2M and $30M.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and transaction processes simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Originate new energy infrastructure opportunities with commercial and industrial customers.
• Build and manage a personal pipeline of financable Energy-as-a-Service and Power Purchase Agreements.
• Coordinate the development of Indicative Proposals and commercial term sheets.
