Job summary

Alternergy Holdings Corporation is seeking a Project Development Officer to drive end-to-end renewable energy projects in the Philippines, including solar and BESS, from site origination through investment decision and financial close.

You will coordinate cross-functional inputs from Legal, Engineering, Finance, and Permitting, building a healthy project pipeline and securing land and regulatory approvals. You will also manage relationships with landowners, LGUs, off-takers, and investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; MBA/Energy Management an advantage.
• 3–5 years in project development, business development, or investment in energy/infrastructure sectors.
• Experience with Philippine regulatory agencies (DOE, ERC) and LGUs; project finance exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead origination and pipeline development for renewable energy projects (solar, BESS, etc.).
• Manage development workstreams from concept to NTP and financial close.
• Coordinate land acquisition, permitting, grid interconnection, offtake, and financing milestones.
• Lead investor and lender relation activities; prepare investment memoranda and data room materials.
• Oversee stakeholder engagement with LGUs, DOE, NGCP, and communities; ensure social license requirements.
