Job summary

Envision Energy is seeking a Project Legal Manager in the Philippines to provide comprehensive legal support across the lifecycle of Solar, Wind, and BESS projects. You will coordinate with development, land, permitting, engineering, finance, construction, and operations teams to manage legal risks and ensure compliance with Philippine laws.

The role covers due diligence, contract drafting and review, regulatory compliance, and negotiations with diverse stakeholders from developers to utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
• LLB/JD or equivalent required.
• Bar admission in the Philippines preferred.
• 7–10 years of relevant legal experience in energy, infrastructure, or similar sectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice throughout the development lifecycle of Solar, Wind, and BESS projects.
• Draft, review, and negotiate EPC, PPA, and related agreements to allocate risks.
• Lead land acquisition agreements, including leases, sale and purchase, easements, and ROWs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across DOE, ERC, and other Philippine authorities.
• Support project development, permitting, financing, construction, operations, and close-out with legal guidance.
