Job summary

iOPEX Technologies Philippines Inc. in Taguig seeks a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll, from timekeeping validation to disbursement, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with tax regulations. The role requires hands-on experience with SAP, Workday, Sprout, PayrollHero and advanced Excel.

You will compute taxable components, prepare BIR 1601-C, and perform year-end tax annualization, while maintaining data integrity across HRIS platforms and payroll processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
• 2–3 years of end-to-end payroll experience.
• Ability to perform manual payroll computations independently.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, Workday, Sprout or PayrollHero.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (IF, SUMIF/SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, VBA).
• High accuracy, confidentiality, and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete payroll cycle from timekeeping validation to disbursement.
• Perform manual payroll computations when needed and validate results.
• Process payroll through HRIS platforms ensuring data integrity.
• Compute and validate taxable and non-taxable components including de minimis benefits.
• Prepare and file BIR Form 1601-C and ensure timely remittance.
• Conduct year-end tax annualization and related adjustments.
• Process final pay, proration, and clearance deductions for leavers.
• Reconcile timekeeping with schedules, leaves, and attendance exceptions.
• Handle SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG contributions and remittance.
• Prepare payroll reports and schedules for accounting reconciliation.
