Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for a large headcount, ensuring accuracy in deductions, bonuses, and year-end processes.

You will coordinate with analysts to deliver timely payroll and assist in generating client and internal reports. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and strong Excel skills, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and analytical capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; internship or exposure to payroll is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of payroll processing, employee compensation, deductions, and statutory contributions.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and reconciliation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling numerical and employee-related information.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Handles end-to end payroll processing for at least 500 employee headcount, including bonuses and adjustments.
• Collates information, produces reports, journals, and files.
• Prepares, codes, and processes journals for employee provisions when applicable.
• Reconciles payroll-related general ledger accounts.
• Prepares various payroll reports for managers and year-end requirements.
• Calculates termination and redundancy pay as required.
• Works with Analysts to deliver accurate and timely payroll.
• Serves as tier 2 support for the contact center team.
• Reviews and updates processes to improve efficiency.
