Responsibilities

• Assist payroll inquiries from employees and management.

About the role

Asticom Technology Inc is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist (SAP System) to join our growing finance team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all payroll operations within our SAP system environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of employee compensation. This position is critical to maintaining the financial integrity of our organisation and supporting our human resources objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage monthly, bi-weekly or weekly payroll using the SAP system, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits
• Verify payroll data and reconcile discrepancies between timekeeping systems and SAP records
• Generate and distribute payroll reports, wage statements, and tax documents to employees and relevant stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the SAP system, including personal information, salary adjustments, and benefits enrolment
• Assist with payroll-related inquiries from employees and management regarding compensation, deductions, and benefits
• Conduct regular payroll system audits and maintain detailed documentation of payroll transactions
• Collaborate with Human Resources and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and address any issues or concerns

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in payroll administration or processing
• Advanced proficiency with SAP system.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Certification in payroll administration or SAP system training is preferred
• Experience with payroll software integration and data migration is advantageous
