Job summary

1Life Inc. in Quezon City is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees. You will validate attendance, timekeeping, adjustments, and deductions in coordination with HR and Finance, ensuring accuracy before payroll release.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR/Finance and 2–3 years’ payroll/HR operations experience, with strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and knowledge of PH regulations. Confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in payroll, compensation and benefits, or HR operations.
• Knowledge of Philippine payroll processes, statutory contributions, and government regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end payroll preparation and processing for employees.
• Collect, review, and validate attendance, timekeeping, overtime, absences, leaves, and other records.
• Encode and update payroll information in the payroll system accurately.
• Prepare payroll inputs including salary adjustments, allowances, incentives, deductions, loans, and benefits.
• Coordinate with HR and department heads regarding attendance discrepancies and payroll movements.
• Review payroll reports and reconcile to ensure accuracy before release.
• Assist in government-mandated contributions and deductions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, withholding tax).
• Maintain confidential payroll records and supporting documents.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding salaries, deductions, timekeeping, benefits.
• Monitor changes (hiring, resignations, promotions, transfers, salary adjustments) and reflect in payroll.
• Coordinate with Finance regarding payroll funding, disbursement and reports.
• Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and documentation for management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and labor/payroll regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of compensation and personal information.
• Perform other payroll and HR-related duties as assigned.
