Job summary

Union Bank of the Philippines is seeking a Payroll Officer to oversee end-to-end payroll processing, inquiries handling, and regulatory reporting. You will ensure timely resolution of employee questions, coordinate with vendors on payroll, attendance, and system issues, and drive accuracy and SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 2–4 years of payroll processing experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking with high attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and teamwork across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution of employee inquiries and incidents.
• Administer payroll processing for employees including project hires and consultants.
• Update payroll records; review changes in contributions, exemptions, insurance, and deductions.
• Compute and implement salary adjustments from Compensation team.
• Coordinate with outsourced provider on executive payroll and onboarding.
• Process Board of Directors’ allowance and per diem.
• Monitor SLA compliance and update dashboards in team meetings.
• Suggest payroll processes improvements and participate in special projects.
• Prepare payroll, accounting, and government reports.
