Job summary

Fragomen Philippines has an exciting opportunity to join the firm as a Business Immigration Consultant. This role focuses on providing end-to-end immigration support and advisory to clients in the Philippines.

Responsibilities include managing cases from intake to completion, advising on regulations, preparing filings, and maintaining strong client relations. You will ensure timely, accurate submissions and contribute to team goals while upholding Fragomen’s professional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years Philippines immigration experience.
• Philippine Bar admission is required.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Meets assigned deadlines and communicates case progress/status/issues to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of duties requiring specialized knowledge in employment-based immigration matters.
• Responsible for seeing each case through from end to end.
• Advising clients on Philippines immigration regulations, procedures & requirements and policies.
• Maintain good communication with clients' main contacts and keep them informed on progress.
• Reviews instructions for new cases and advises client/assignee accordingly, including key issues affecting start date and visa processes.
• Researches, prepares and formulates advice for clients.
• Maintains contact with clients and authorities processing immigration applications; informs clients of changes.
• Ensures accurate, complete and technically correct immigration applications are submitted on time.
• Manages case work within agreed timeframes and Fragomen's standards.
• Updates case management system and client files per practice protocols and SLAs.
• Assists in compiling metrics/reports under contracts with clients.
• Attends to invoicing on case completion.
• Participates in conflict resolution and manages client expectations.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoots issues and supports management during escalations.
• Works with supervision; accountable for results and team impact.
• Mentors junior staff.
• Participates in process improvements and training.
