Job summary

Eucalyptus, part of Hims & Hers, is seeking a Community Moderator to maintain a safe, high-trust environment for customers across weight-loss private Facebook groups. You will work with the Community and CX teams, handling day-to-day moderation and ensuring conversations stay healthy.

The role requires reviewing join requests and posts, monitoring activity, responding to routine questions, escalating issues when needed, and maintaining accurate member records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer care, community moderation or related field.
• Strong written communication; adapt your tone across situations.
• Empathy with sensitive health conversations; no medical advice.
• Organized and detail-oriented; follow documented protocols.
• Interest in health and wellness; healthcare experience is a plus.
• Available to commit to one of two fixed shifts: Day or Evening.

Responsibilities

• Review join requests and verify eligibility before granting access.
• Review posts before they go live, ensuring they meet guidelines.
• Monitor posts, comments, and alerts; actively engage with members.
• Respond to routine questions and escalate CX issues when needed.
• Remove spam and policy violations; de-escalate with empathy.
• Identify potential risks and escalate according to protocols.
• Maintain accurate member records and moderation actions.
• Complete shift handoffs and share recurring trends with the team.
