Job summary

Eucalyptus, part of Hims & Hers, seeks a Lead Accountant in the Philippines to build and own the EMEA accounting function from the ground up. You’ll report to the UK finance lead and work with global teams, bridging APAC and EMEA time zones.

With 8+ years in accounting, CPA/CA, hands-on GL and reconciliations, you’ll set up processes for new markets, mentor local staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting across regions while embracing a high-ownership culture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience, with clear progression into increasing complexity.
• CPA or CA qualified.
• Hands-on reconciliations, general ledger management, and bookings.
• International or offshore accounting experience, ideally in a global shared services environment.
• Exposure to EMEA accounting and working with an international SSC.
• Comfortable with EMEA hours; proven ability to operate with remote teams.
• Builders mindset; confident guiding others informally.
• Big Four experience welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own hands-on accounting for reconciliations, journal entries, and bookings across EMEA entities.
• Support accounting setup and ongoing operations for new market launches.
• Bridge time zones between APAC and EMEA teams to maintain presence across regions.
• Mentor the Philippines-based accounting team with knowledge sharing.
• Build and improve processes to scale with the business.
• Collaborate with Senior Managers for Accounting and Financial Control in Australia and the UK, and the GL team.
