Job summary

Eucalyptus is expanding its EMEA accounting function and seeks a Lead Accountant to build the Philippines team and work with global teams in the UK and Australia. You will own hands-on accounting across reconciliations, journals, and bookings for EMEA entities, while supporting new market launches and bridging time zones.

The role requires 8+ years in accounting, CPA/CA qualification, and experience in international shared services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience with progression to complex roles.
• Hands-on reconciliations, general ledger management and bookings.
• Experience in international or offshore shared services environments.
• Exposure to EMEA accounting and telework-friendly time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own reconciliations, journal entries and bookings for EMEA entities.
• Support setup and ongoing operations for new market launches.
• Bridge APAC/EMEA time zones and ensure continuity across regions.
• Mentor Philippines-based accounting team and transfer knowledge.
• Build and improve processes to scale with the business.
