Emerson Electric (Asia) Limited - ROHQ is seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and security across the software life cycle. You will work within an Agile Scrum team, validating features, releases, and updates with developers, product owners, and architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computing, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in software testing, including test case development and defect validation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile activities: sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
• Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with developers and product owners.
• Validate features, defects, builds, and release candidates for downstream testing.
• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for functional, integration, and security testing.
• Investigate and document issues; collaborate with teams for timely resolution.
• Configure, maintain validation environments including hardware, networking, and lab setups.
