Job summary

MMC LIFTS INCORPORATED is seeking an experienced elevator technician with a strong background in major brands to diagnose, repair, and maintain elevators and related equipment. You will read electrical diagrams, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety standards on site in Manila or Baguio.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years repairing elevators, familiar with Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Otis, KONE brands.
• Ability to independently perform elevator maintenance with company support for complex issues.
• Willing to be assigned in Manila and Baguio with lodging/meals provided for certain projects.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot elevator issues using diagnostic tools.
• Conduct installation, maintenance, repair, and adjustment of elevators and related equipment.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, lubrication, oiling/greasing, and adjustment of elevator components.
• Replace worn, damaged, or defective parts to ensure reliable operation.
• Conduct safety tests and ensure elevators comply with safety standards and company requirements.
• Inspect elevator doors, cables, motors, brakes, control systems, sensors, and other components.
• Respond to service calls and attend to elevator breakdowns promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and recurring issues.
• Assist in elevator installation, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities when required.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical specs.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and technicians to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and service reports.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, PPE and workplace safety procedures.
• Provide technical recommendations to improve elevator performance, safety, and reliability.

Job Qualifications:

• With at least 8 years experience in repairing elevators primarily TKE brands, such as Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Otis, KONE, and, as well as familiarity with electrical schematics

• Ability to independently perform elevator maintenance, with technical support provided by the company

• Willing to be assigned in Manila and Baguio (Accommodation provided for certain projects including lodging and meals)
