Job summary

Crown Regency Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to install, operate, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems essential to hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electromechanical Technology or related field.
• 1–2 years of electromechanical maintenance experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, HVAC, generators, and pumps.

• Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

About the role

The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems. The position ensures that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably to support continuous hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems and components.

• Inspect motors, pumps, generators, compressors, HVAC equipment, control panels, and other machinery.

• Diagnose equipment faults and perform necessary repairs or replacements.

• Install, test, and commission electrical and mechanical equipment.

• Perform electrical wiring, connections, and basic control system troubleshooting.

• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures or safety hazards.

• Maintain and repair motors, bearings, belts, gears, pumps, valves, and other mechanical components.

• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.

• Use appropriate testing instruments and hand/power tools safely.

About you

• Diploma or degree in Electromechanical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.

• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in electromechanical maintenance is an advantage.

• Experience in hotel, building, industrial, or facilities maintenance is preferred.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, pumps, HVAC, generators, and mechanical equipment.

• Ability to read electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.

• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on maintenance work.

• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays when required.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
