Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical quantity surveying or cost management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Excel.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare accurate electrical cost estimates and monitor project budgets.
• Tendering & Procurement: Develop detailed BoQs, manage tender submissions, and negotiate procurement of electrical materials and services.
• Contract Management: Administer electrical contracts, process change orders and resolve disputes within agreed timelines.
• Measurement & Valuation: Conduct site measurements, prepare valuation reports, and ensure accuracy in progress payments.
• Cost Control & Monitoring: Track project costs, forecast financials, and ensure recovery from variations and claims.
