Job summary

Modair Manila Co., Ltd. Inc. in Makati seeks a seasoned engineering project manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, supervisors, CAD operators, site staff and workers to deliver construction projects on time and to high quality and safety standards.

You will develop schedules, assign resources, review plans, meet clients and subcontractors, and ensure contracts are planned and executed efficiently.

Qualifications

• Licensed BSEE with professional accreditation or eligibility.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction engineering.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities demonstrated in complex projects.
• High level of professionalism and sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers, supervisors, CAD operators, site office staff and workers in executing projects.
• Develop work schedules and assign tasks to project staff, set priorities and adjust as needed.
• Maintain accurate reports of contract work, progress, and claims.
• Conduct meetings with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to oversee the project.
• Collaborate with engineers and consultants on planning and scheduling contracts.
• Review engineering drawings, plans and estimates for accuracy.
• Prepare project documents including budgets, calculations, plans and schedules.
• Create and execute project work plans and adapt to changing needs.
• Identify resources required and assign responsibilities.
• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope.

About the role

Manages a team of engineers, supervisors, CAD operators, site office staff and workers in executing projects. Develops work schedules and makes work assignments to project staffs, establishes priorities, reviews and adjusts schedules to meet project requirements. Conducts meetings and discussions with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to oversee the entire engineering and construction project to ensure timely completion while upholding good quality and safety records. Works with engineers and consultants on project planning, preparation, scheduling and execution of contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers, supervisors, CAD operators, site office staff and workers in executing projects
• Develop work schedules and make work assignments to project staffs, establish priorities, review and adjust schedules to meet project requirements
• Maintain accurate reports of contract work and other assigned activities, review progress, accomplishment or completion reports, purchase requests, requisitions, and reports of claims
• Conduct meetings and discussions with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to oversee the entire engineering and construction project
• Work with engineers and consultants on project planning, preparation, scheduling and execution of contracts
• Review and check engineering drawings, plans, computations, estimates and reports for completeness and accuracy
• Prepare project documents including budget analyses, calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope

About you

• Licensed Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
• At least 10 years of relevant experience related to construction engineering
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
• Good moral character, professionalism and strong sense of responsibility
