Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics engineering.
• Experience in electrical, instrumentation, calibration, or related field.
• supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, sensors, controls, and instrumentation equipment.
• Familiarity with calibration procedures and ISO/IEC 17025 or similar standards.
• Experience with maintenance management systems and data analysis.
• Understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

About the Role

Coco Harvest Inc. is seeking a qualified Electrical, Instrumentation & Calibration Supervisor to join our operations team in Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental.

This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the reliability, accuracy, safety, and proper maintenance of electrical systems, instrumentation, and calibration equipment supporting our manufacturing and agricultural operations.

The Supervisor will oversee the maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems and will provide technical direction and supervision to assigned personnel. The role also supports operational efficiency, compliance with applicable standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, maintain, and improve instrumentation and electrical control systems and equipment.

2. Evaluate the condition and performance of electrical and instrumentation components and recommend appropriate actions.

3. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

4. Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues in a timely and effective manner.

5. Support and implement automation projects to improve process control, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

6. Maintain an updated inventory and technical records of instrumentation and electrical control systems and equipment.

7. Work with automation systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and optimize production processes.

8. Ensure the availability of materials, supplies, manpower, tools, and equipment required for maintenance and related activities.

9. Participate in the implementation of engineering and equipment improvement projects.

10. Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness within assigned work areas.

11. Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and company procedures.

12. Recommend and implement process, equipment, and system improvements.

13. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to assigned personnel and promote effective teamwork.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in electrical, instrumentation, calibration, maintenance, or a related technical field is an advantage.

• For a supervisory-level role, demonstrated experience in technical supervision, team leadership, or maintenance coordination is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), sensors, controls, and instrumentation equipment.

• Knowledge of calibration procedures and applicable standards, including ISO/IEC 17025 or similar standards, is an advantage.

• Experience with maintenance management systems, technical documentation, and data analysis.

• Sound understanding of electrical safety requirements, applicable safety standards, and industry regulations.

• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.

• Leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to technical personnel.

• Computer proficiency and ability to use relevant software and maintenance systems.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and manage multiple priorities.

• Experience in manufacturing, agricultural, food processing, or similar industrial environments is an advantage.
