About the role

Cavite Contracting Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Electrical Helper to join our growing team in Imus City, Cavite. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the electrical trades industry whilst working alongside experienced professionals. As an Electrical Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our electrical operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the electrical contracting sector.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment

• Preparing work sites by gathering and organising tools, materials and equipment needed for electrical projects

• Holding, positioning and securing electrical materials, components and equipment during installation

• Running cables, conduits and other electrical materials through walls, ceilings and floors under guidance

• Cleaning and maintaining work areas to ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations

• Assisting with the testing of electrical systems and equipment to verify proper functionality

• Transporting tools, materials and equipment to and from job sites

• Following all safety protocols and procedures at all times, including the correct use of personal protective equipment

• Communicating effectively with the electrical team and reporting any issues or concerns promptly

• Learning from experienced electricians and continuously developing technical knowledge and practical skills

What we're looking for

• A valid high school diploma or equivalent qualification

• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour, including lifting, climbing and working at heights

• A strong commitment to health and safety practices and compliance with all regulatory requirements

• Reliability and punctuality with a willingness to work flexible hours when required

• Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately

• A keen interest in learning and developing skills in electrical work

• Basic mathematics and problem-solving abilities

• Preferably some prior experience in the trades or construction industry

• A valid driver's licence would be advantageous
