Job summary

Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corporation is seeking an Estimator (Electromechanical) to prepare and review cost estimates based on project requirements, drawings, and site conditions. The role supports planning, vendor selection, and cost control while coordinating with project owners and design teams to ensure competitive proposals for electromechanical works.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, is a Licensed Electrical Engineer, and has 1–2 years

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer designation required.
• 1–2 years of estimator experience in a construction firm.
• WFH arrangement every other Friday; 8am–5pm schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review detailed cost estimates based on project requirements, drawings, and site conditions.
• Support planning, vendor selection, and cost control activities.
• Coordinate with project owners and design teams to ensure accurate proposals.
• Develop competitive proposals for electromechanical works.

Job description

The Estimator (Electromechanical) prepares and reviews detailed cost estimates by analyzing project requirements, drawings, and site conditions. The role supports planning, vendor selection, and cost control, coordinates with project owners and design teams, and ensures accurate and competitive proposals for electromechanical works.

Work Location: Ortigas, Pasig City - Head Office
Job Type: Full-time

Education Level: Graduate of a Bachelor’s/College degree in Electrical Engineering; Licensed Electrical Engineer.

Minimum Years of Exp.: With at least 1-2 years' work experience as estimator in a construction firm
Employment Status: Project Hire
Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays (8am to 5pm) - WFH setup every other week of Friday.

Skill/s:

• Good strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledgeable in project management.

• Knowledgeable in quantity surveying works.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office operations (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
