Job summary

ASEC Development and Construction Corporation is seeking a Cost & Estimating Supervisor (Electrical) to join our Engineering team in Manila. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing electrical plans, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and providing technical support during bidding and project implementation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, a licensed Electrical Engineer (REE), and at least 5 years of experience in high-rise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in high-rise building construction or electrical contracting.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical estimating, quantity surveying, and construction methodologies.
• Experience in project budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of contracts and construction documentation is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs based on the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Analyze electrical plans, drawings, and specifications to identify missing scope or discrepancies.
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review and validate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare direct cost estimates and commercial proposals for management approval.
• Assist in bid submissions, pre-bid conferences, technical clarification, and negotiation meetings.
• Conduct site inspections when necessary.
• Prepare project construction budgets for awarded projects.
• Review quantity variations and evaluate variation orders.
• Coordinate with project teams and other departments regarding technical and estimating requirements.
• Prepare material compliance documents and other technical submissions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
