Job summary

ConnectOS in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. You will perform detailed quantity take-offs from plans, prepare cost estimates for electrical and EV infrastructure, and support tender submissions.

This role requires at least 3 years of electrical estimating experience, the ability to read drawings, and proficiency in Espro, Excel, Bluebeam, and AI-assisted tools. We offer hybrid work, equipment, HMO from day one, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Estimator.
• Strong experience completing electrical quantity take-offs.
• Demonstrated experience pricing commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or EV charging projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Sound understanding of Australian electrical construction practices and methodologies.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete detailed electrical quantity take-offs from plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Review tender packages and project documentation.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical and EV infrastructure projects.
• Measure and quantify materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor scopes.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, assumptions, and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and pricing schedules.
• Compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Maintain estimating records and project cost databases.
• Support the Pre‑Contracts and Estimating team during the tender process.
• Review tender documentation to ensure all scope requirements have been captured.
• Prepare estimate summaries and supporting documentation.
• Assist with bid clarifications and tender queries.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding project requirements and pricing outcomes.
• Maintain organised electronic tender files and estimating documentation.
• Prepare reports and summaries for management review.
• Ensure all estimates are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
• Document assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and qualifications for each submission.
• Accuracy of quantity take‑offs.
• Accuracy of tender pricing and cost estimates.
• Completion of estimates within agreed deadlines.
• Quality and completeness of tender documentation.
• Responsiveness to internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and contribute immediately to tender delivery.
