Private Advertiser is seeking an Electrical Estimator to review project drawings, perform quantity take-offs, estimate material and labor costs, and prepare competitive quotations for electrical power distribution installations, including transformers, switchgear, panelboards, substations and busduct systems.

The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project drawings and specifications, conducting quantity take-offs, estimating material and labor costs, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and preparing competitive and accurate project quotations for the installation of electrical power distribution systems, particularly transformers, switchgear, panelboards, substations, busduct systems, and other related electrical installations.
Review electrical drawings, specifications, single-line diagrams (SLD), load schedules, and other project documents.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for electrical installation projects.
Perform quantity take-offs for electrical equipment, materials, accessories, and installation works.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Bills of Materials (BOM), and detailed cost breakdowns.
Estimate the cost of installation, labor, materials, equipment, tools, and other project requirements.
Review project specifications and ensure that estimates comply with the required technical specifications.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain updated material and equipment prices.
Compare supplier quotations and evaluate technical and commercial offers.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals for submission to clients.
Maintain an updated database of material, equipment, labor, and subcontractor costs.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience in electrical estimating, electrical engineering, or electrical construction.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, specifications, and equipment schedules.
Knowledge of electrical installation methods, materials, and equipment.
Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple projects and quotations simultaneously.
