Job summary

Horse Power Contractors & Electrical Solutions Inc. is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Philippines.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and can review drawings, calculate loads, and develop robust electrical design systems including power distribution and fire alarm schemes. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is essential, along with knowledge of electrical codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s/College degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of Electrical Design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Applications.
• Working knowledge of Electrical Codes and Standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and establish relationships with project teams.
• Professional License is an advantage, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review project documentation, including electrical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for electrical installations, considering materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and other project-specific factors.
• Prepare the initial layout, conduct calculations, and determine sizing.
• Develop electrical design systems such as power distribution, fire alarms, FDAS, lighting, etc.
• Electrical Load Calculations (Schedule of Load).
