Job summary

The SM Store (SM Mart Inc.) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical expertise for electrical and facility systems across store locations, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety, and operational excellence.

You will oversee maintenance of building systems, review plans, lead testing and commissioning of new equipment, and drive audits and corrective actions to improve safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a valid PE license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Construction Management or Property Management.
• BOSH training completed.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, building maintenance, and OSH protocols.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.

Job description

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise in the evaluation, design review, maintenance, and improvement of electrical and auxiliary systems across store facilities. The role ensures compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence in support of business operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of electrical, auxiliary, and related building systems

• Develop and implement technical policies, procedures, and operational standards for store facilities

• Review and evaluate construction and renovation plans to ensure compliance with engineering and safety requirements

• Lead testing, commissioning, and acceptance activities for new equipment and facility systems

• Conduct technical audits and drive corrective actions to improve compliance, safety, and operational performance

Key Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; Licensed Electrical Engineer

• At least five (5) years of experience in Project Construction Management and/or Property Management

• Has undergone Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training

• Knowledgeable in electrical systems, building maintenance operations, and OSH protocols

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office, and related engineering software
