Testech Inc is seeking a Facilities Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of all facility assets including buildings, electrical systems, HVAC, fire protection, conveyors, and related equipment. You will support Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection functions.
You will ensure economical department performance, drive continuous improvement, lead facility staff, monitor equipment parameters and utility costs, and oversee subcontractors to secure the best deals
About the role
Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all facilities related assets including, but not limited to: buildings, electrical distribution systems, HVAC system, air compressors, fire suppression system, conveyor systems, and general facility equipment. Responsible to all functions within Facilities Department (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection).
Key responsibilities
Ensure that the departments are functioning economically
Ensure continuous improvement in facility department
Motivate Facility staff to achieve the department objectives
Monitor and review facilities equipment parameter and utilities cost
Participate in selection, assessment and approval of subcontractors and vendors to negotiate the best deal
Champion in housekeeping and safety
Prepare KPI Report, Weekly and Monthly reports
About you
Graduate of any Engineering Course (Preferably Electrical/Mechanical and License)
Knowledge of the theory and practical repair and maintenance of various electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic control systems and devices
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical construction and maintenance practices and procedures
Knowledge of preventative maintenance system principles and objectives
Skill in the practical application of electrical and mechanical testing devices to diagnose system/equipment failures or efficiency levels
Skill in operating a variety of hand and power tools
Ability to read and apply electrical and mechanical plans, complex circuit schematics, blueprints
Ability to compute and apply electrical formulas
