Job Description

• Deliver electrical engineering projects while supporting planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
• Support the testing, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of high-voltage electrical equipment and systems.
• Design and review electrical engineering systems, including substation layouts, SCADA configurations, high-voltage grid connections, and related power systems.
• Perform technical calculations, simulations, design reviews, and feasibility assessments using relevant engineering software.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, field teams, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver practical and technically sound engineering solutions.
• Identify technical issues, safety hazards, and project risks, and support timely corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical input during tendering and proposal preparation, including scope review, feasibility, and cost estimation support.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, project records, test results, compliance certificates, reports, and document control requirements.
• Conduct quality checks, inspections, and audits to ensure work complies with project specifications, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and internal procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members while supporting a collaborative and safety-focused working environment.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of electrical engineering systems, high-voltage equipment, substations, grid connections, SCADA, testing, and commissioning.
• Ability to prepare and review technical designs, calculations, simulations, engineering documentation, and project plans.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify faults, risks, and practical technical solutions.
• Good understanding of engineering standards, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workplace health and safety practices.
• Experience supporting project planning, resource coordination, budgeting, reporting, and technical tender submissions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and revision control.
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Able to manage competing priorities, meet project deadlines, work independently when required, and contribute effectively within a team environment.
