Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/Senior Engineer in preparing vendor approval submissions to ensure compliance and timely procurement.
• Develop and update project schedules to track progress and coordinate resources effectively.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of electrical works.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams during project implementation to ensure correct installation and adherence to plans.
• Monitor and perform quality checks on ongoing work to maintain compliance with standards and specifications.

Job Summary

Electrical Engineer responsible for designing, coordinating, inspecting, and commissioning electrical systems in building projects. Collaborate with project managers, consultants, BIM teams, contractors, and site personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant electrical works.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, check, and submit electrical drawings, catalogues, and calculations for assigned projects to meet design and regulatory standards
• Assist Project Manager/Senior Engineer in preparing vendor approval submissions to ensure compliance and timely procurement
• Develop and update project schedules to track progress and coordinate resources effectively
• Calculate bill of materials and produce engineering deliverables to support project execution
• Participate in progress and technical meetings to communicate project status and resolve issues
• Execute projects following general, particular, and technical specifications and approved drawings
• Facilitate effective communication among engineering, technical, construction, and project control teams to align project objectives
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of electrical works
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams during project implementation to ensure correct installation and adherence to plans
• Monitor and perform quality checks on ongoing work to maintain compliance with standards and specifications
• Develop method statements and testing procedures to guide safe and effective electrical work execution
• Inspect installations and observe operations to verify compliance with design, equipment specifications, and safety standards
• Perform additional engineering duties as assigned by Project Manager or management to support project success

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, preferably in building construction or engineering projects
• Knowledge of electrical building services and construction practices
• Understanding of Singapore electrical standards, codes, and regulatory requirements

• Experience in site supervision, inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
