Job summary

CHINA CONSTRUCTION FRONT GEN. DEVT. CORP. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to supervise and coordinate electrical installation works on site, ensuring compliance with designs, safety standards and project schedules.

The role requires strong coordination with architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors. The candidate should have a B.E. in Electrical Engineering, with 1–3 years of site-based experience and advantage for PRC-licensed certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (LEE) certification from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines is advantageous
• Minimum 1–3 years of site-based experience as an electrical engineer on construction projects

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating all electrical installation works on site in accordance with approved designs, specifications and project schedules
• Conducting regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations and project requirements
• Managing electrical materials procurement, inventory and equipment delivery to site to prevent delays and cost overruns
• Liaising with architects, structural engineers, contractors and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other project components
• Preparing and maintaining detailed site records, daily reports, progress documentation and as-built drawings for electrical works
• Identifying and resolving technical issues, design conflicts and construction challenges related to electrical installations
• Ensuring strict adherence to occupational health and safety standards, electrical codes and regulatory requirements on site
• Providing technical guidance and supervision to electrical workers and subcontractors
• Coordinating electrical testing, commissioning and handover procedures prior to project completion
• Maintaining effective communication with the project management team regarding electrical work progress, risks and variations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (LEE) certification from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines in an advantage
• Minimum 1-3 years of site-based experience as an electrical engineer on construction projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, installation practices, safety standards and building codes applicable in the Philippines
• Proficiency with electrical engineering software and design tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP or similar programmes
• Excellent understanding of electrical systems including power distribution, wiring, lighting, fire detection and alarm systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage electrical budgets, materials and project timelines effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Physical capability to conduct regular site inspections and work in construction environments
• Experience with large-scale commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects is highly desirable
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and construction management systems is advantageous
