Job summary

Lim Kim Hai Electric Co (S) Pte Ltd seeks a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Engineer to support the delivery of EV, lighting, and smart building projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Engineering team on planning, coordination, and execution.

The role involves assisting in scheduling, coordinating with partners and customers, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring safety and timely procurement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
• Own vehicle with transport allowance.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer in delivering projects to clients in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with business partners and stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables within schedule.
• Provide technical solutions and engineering support for projects.
• Conduct site surveys, prepare project schedules, progress reports, and other documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, CSEs, Sales for timely materials delivery.
• Conduct toolbox talks to ensure safety requirements are followed.
• Supervise site activities and attend project meetings.
• Prepare material requirements and purchase requisitions.
• Support preparation and submission of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Assist with progress claims and invoicing documentation.

About the role

Project Engineer / Assistant Project Engineer role supporting the delivery of projects (EV, Lighting, Smart Building) to clients in accordance with project requirements. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Engineering team on project planning, coordination, and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer in delivering projects to clients in accordance with project requirements
• Support Project Engineers in coordinating with business partners and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are completed within the agreed timeline
• Assist in providing technical solutions and engineering support for projects
• Conduct site surveys with contractors and prepare project schedules, progress reports, and other required project documentation
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, Customer Service Executives (CSE), Sales, and other relevant parties to ensure timely delivery of materials, installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Conduct site briefings and toolbox meetings to ensure contractors and workers are aware of all workplace safety requirements, hazards, and safe work procedures
• Supervise site activities and attend project meetings to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and schedule
• Prepare material requirements and purchase requisitions for timely procurement of project materials
• Support project in the preparation and submission of engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Support the preparation and submission of project progress claims, project reports, and documentation required for invoicing

About you

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Green Building & Sustainability, or a related engineering discipline
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License ,
• Candidate come with own vehicle, transport allowance will be provided.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, and other technical drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Able to communicate effective with internal and external stakeholders
