Job summary

Jacobs Philippines seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our engineering and design team. You will lead electrical design activities for large projects, coordinating with the Electrical Lead and other disciplines to ensure technical delivery from concept through construction.

Applicants should have strong NEC/Philippine Code knowledge and hands-on experience with hospital and data center power systems, with a collaborative, safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering with project experience.
• Experience on hospital or data center electrical design preferred.
• Understanding of NEC and local electrical codes required.
• Ability to lead electrical design on small to mid-size projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design activities for projects and coordinate with Electrical Lead.
• Develop and review drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Ensure QA/QC and design validation processes are followed.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical design.

Your impact

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral member of the engineering and design team, counted on to perform a significant portion of Electrical engineering and design for our projects. You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills as you work closely with your Electrical Lead, other Electrical Engineers and Designers, and other disciplines. It is expected that you have a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, knowledge of multiple subject areas, experience with specific codes applicable to Electrical engineering, understand how Electrical design integrates with and impacts other disciplines. This position will require you to serve as a Lead Electrical Engineer for small projects, or as a Sub-Lead for larger projects. Works independently, acts as a Lead, collaborate with team of designers and engineers to complete all electrical activities. You will be given as much responsibility as you are willing to take, and your opportunities for career growth will be limited only by your own motivation, capabilities, and attitude.

• LV and Medium Voltage (MV) power distribution design
• Knowledge of NEC, Philippine Electrical Code, and international standards
