Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed REE certification
• 1–2 years experience in electrical engineering, preferably with solar energy systems
• Prior involvement in solar ground-mount projects is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, inverters, power systems and electrical distribution for solar projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD or other electrical design and schematic tools
• Skilled in load calculations and other technical evaluations for solar installations

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for solar PV rooftop installations and solar farms
• Prepare single-line diagrams, layout plans, cable schedules, and panel configurations
• Perform load calculations, select appropriate electrical equipment
• Coordinate with project managers, civil and mechanical engineers, and external partners
• Review technical specifications, support tender/proposal documentation
• Assist in site assessments and commissioning activities to verify installations match designs
