Job summary

KHDGG Development Corporation in the Philippines seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to design, analyze, and develop electrical systems for infrastructure projects with NGCP transmission lines, substations, or grid improvements.

You will produce single-line diagrams, layouts, BOMs, and perform load studies; ensure codes compliance; coordinate with stakeholders; support project execution and maintain thorough design documentation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in electrical design, preferably for power systems, substations, or transmission projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality engineering design.
• Relevant certifications or licenses are an advantage.
• Experience with NGCP-related projects is an advantage.
• Available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare electrical designs, including single-line diagrams, layouts, and detailed engineering drawings for power systems.
• Perform load calculations, system studies, and technical analysis for optimal system performance.
• Review and interpret project specifications to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications, BOMs, and cost estimates for proposals and execution.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and smooth implementation.
• Provide technical support during project execution, addressing design-related issues and revisions.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure quality control of engineering deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations in all design outputs.
• Maintain organized documentation of design files, calculations, and revisions.
