Job summary

Hongheng Construction Group Phils., Ltd. Inc. is seeking a Grid Engineer to work on on-site projects in Pasay.

You will evaluate interconnection options, identify suitable grid connection points, and coordinate with NGCP, DOE, and other regulators to ensure compliance. The role covers substation design support, grid studies, documentation, and project development tasks. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience are required, with strong knowledge of Philippine Grid Code and utility

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in grid engineering or related field.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
Strong understanding of Philippine Grid Code and NGCP/DOE requirements.

Responsibilities

Assess potential solar project sites and interconnection options.
Develop grid connection strategies and identify interconnection points and transmission requirements.
Evaluate connection points, voltage levels, substation configurations, and grid reinforcement needs.
Analyze grid capacity, constraints, and risks for interconnection projects.
Coordinate with NGCP, DOE and regulatory bodies on applicable standards and approvals.
Produce technical reports, grid studies, and due diligence materials.
