Job summary

Aboitiz Power Corporation invites applications for an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and control equipment to ensure continuous operation.

You will work with the Maintenance team on SCADA/PLC systems, CMMS (Maximo), and implement system improvements for protection and operational efficiency.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and hands-on troubleshooting in a power plant environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation and Control Engineer.
• 2–3 years experience in power plants or allied industry.
• Experience with SCADA/PLC and CMMS (Maximo).

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment including OT systems like SCADA/PLC as directed by the E&I Supervisor.
• Perform condition-based monitoring and log into the CMMS (Maximo) as required.
• Inspect auxiliary electrical equipment on a regular basis.

• ConductspreventiveandcorrectivemaintenanceactivitiesonallelectricalandinstrumentationequipmentincludingOperationalTechnologies(OT)notlimitedtoSupervisoryControlandDataAcquisition(SCADA)andProgrammableLogicController(PLC)asdirectedbytheE&ISupervisorinaccordancewiththeMaintenanceprogram.
• Conductscondition-basedmonitoringprogramsasspecifiedinWorkInstructionsandinputthemintheComputerizedMaintenanceManagementSystem(CMMS)whichmaynotbelimitedtoMaximo.
• Conductsroutineinspectionofauxiliaryandotherelectricalequipmentonaregularinterval.
