Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Planning Engineer to ensure timely maintenance execution, from corrective and preventive actions to long-term maintenance programs across the plant fleet.

The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree, PE licensure, and at least two years of power plant maintenance experience. You will work with the Maintenance team to optimize performance and reliability while contributing to community impact and sustainable energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional engineering licensure (PE) preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in power plant maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Operations and Maintenance Heads daily for corrective, preventive and condition-based maintenance as well as emergency work order schedules.
• Assists in pre-evaluation and analysis of parts replacement/placement needs and orders.
• Monitors timely implementation of scheduled Work Orders for main plant and balance of plant equipment.
• Assists in collating preventive, condition-based and corrective maintenance plans to establish a long-term maintenance program for the plant.
• Collects data on maintenance activities to monitor compliance with procedures and enable proactive repairs.

As Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely implementation of corrective, preventive, and condition-based maintenance and emergency work order schedules. The position will also establish long-term maintenance program ensures compliance with standard maintenance procedures and provides a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance, and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Maintenance team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Coordinates with Operations and Maintenance Heads daily for all corrective, preventive and condition-based maintenance as well as emergency work order schedules.
• Assists and provides inputs in the pre-evaluation and analysis of the need of parts replacement and/or placement and order.
• Monitors the timely implementation of scheduled Work Orders with respect of the main plant and balance of plant equipment.
• Assists in the collation of approved preventive, condition-based and corrective maintenance plans to establish a long-term maintenance program for the plant.
• Collects data on preventive/corrective maintenance activities to monitor compliance to maintenance procedures as well as to provide proactive approach in repairs and maintenance.
