Job summary

Grand Canyon Multi-Holdings, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse/Inventory Clerk to receive, inspect, and store EV and automotive parts, and to issue parts to technicians based on approved requests. You will identify parts using VINs, catalogs, and manufacturer systems, while maintaining precise records of stock movements and discrepancies.

You will monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and conduct regular counts to ensure accuracy. This role emphasizes safety and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in automotive parts, dealership parts operations, warehouse, or inventory management.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems.
• Good organizational and inventory management skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory or parts management systems.
• Ability to read parts catalogs, invoices, purchase orders, and technical information.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physically capable of handling and organizing automotive parts safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, identify, and properly store EV and automotive parts.
• Issue parts to technicians based on approved repair orders and parts requests.
• Identify and source the correct parts using vehicle identification numbers (VIN), parts catalogs, and manufacturer systems.
• Maintain accurate records of parts received, issued, returned, and transferred.
• Monitor inventory levels and prepare purchase or replenishment requests.
• Organize parts storage areas to ensure efficient identification and retrieval.
• Coordinate with suppliers, dealerships, and vendors regarding parts availability, orders, deliveries, and returns.
• Check delivered parts for quantity, specifications, quality, and damage.
• Process warranty, defective, and returned parts according to company procedures.
• Assist service advisors and technicians in identifying appropriate replacement parts.
• Track special-order and back-ordered parts and provide status updates to relevant departments.
• Maintain proper documentation and inventory control procedures.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure obsolete, damaged, or unusable parts are properly identified and handled.
• Follow workplace safety, housekeeping, and environmental procedures.
• Follow appropriate safety procedures when handling EV components, particularly high-voltage-related parts.
