Job summary

SFA Semicon Philippines Corporation is seeking an EHS Manager to oversee and continually improve the company’s environmental, health, and safety management systems for strict regulatory compliance. You will lead audits, control contractor EHS, and act as liaison with regulatory agencies, while delivering employee trainings and driving root-cause analyses.

The role requires a strong background in ISO EMS, OH&S, and RBAC considerations, with a focus on preventing incidents and ensuring audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in B.S. Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering courses.
• At least five years of experience as Pollution Control Officer or Safety Officer in industrial/manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO Environmental Management System, Occupational Health, and Safety Management System.
• Experience with Responsible Business Alliance Certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of local and national Environment and Health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve the company’s EMS aligned with ISO principles, ensuring documentation, procedures, and records support audit readiness.
• Ensure adherence to local and national Environment and Health laws, maintaining certifications and environmental permits.
• Lead risk assessments, investigations into accidents, root cause analysis, and preventive actions to reduce incidents.
• Oversee EHS requirements for contractors on-site to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Serve as the company’s primary liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections, investigations, and audits.

As an EHS Manager, you will oversee and continuously improve the company’s environmental, health, and safety management systems to ensure strict compliance with local and national regulations. In this role, you will lead risk assessments, spearhead company-wide audits, manage site contractor compliance, and serve as the primary liaison for regulatory inspections. You will also foster a culture of safety by delivering employee training and driving root-cause analyses to minimize workplace incidents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in B.S. Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or any related engineering courses.

• At least five (5) or more years of experience as a Pollution Control Officer or Safety Officer in industrial/manufacturing industry.

• In-depth knowledge of ISO Environmental Management System, Occupational Health, and Safety Management System.

• Experience in Responsible Business Alliance Certification is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of the local and national regulations on Environment and Health.

• Ability to plan and execute company-wide audits, implement corrective actions, and prepare for third-party and regulatory inspections.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and continuously improve the company’s EHS management system (EMS) aligned with ISO principles, ensuring documentation, procedures, and records support audit readiness.

• Ensure adherence to local and national Environment and Health laws. This includes the maintenance of the company’s current certifications, environmental permits, and staying up-to-date on emerging health and safety regulations.

• Lead risk assessments, investigations into accidents, root cause analysis, and implementing preventive corrective actions to reduce incident frequency and severity.

• Oversee EHS requirements for contractors working on-site to ensure their compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Serve as the company’s primary liaison with regulatory agencies, during inspections, investigations, and audits.
