Private Advertiser seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead and continuously improve the company’s Environment, Health, and Safety programs. You will ensure compliance with environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations while maintaining audit readiness and promoting a safe workplace.
You will drive ISO-based systems, manage permits, trainings, audits, and oversee on-site contractor EHS compliance, reporting to leadership and liaising with regulators.
We are looking for an experienced EHS Manager to lead and continuously improve the company’s Environment, Health, and Safety programs. The role will ensure compliance with environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations while maintaining audit readiness and promoting a safe workplace.
Implement and continuously improve the company’s EHS Management System aligned with ISO standards and principles.
Ensure compliance with local and national environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Maintain environmental permits, certifications, documentation, procedures, and records.
Lead risk assessments, accident/incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize workplace risks and incidents.
Oversee EHS compliance of contractors working on-site.
Conduct EHS training and awareness programs for employees.
Plan and execute company-wide EHS audits and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
Coordinate and support third-party and regulatory inspections and audits.
Serve as the primary liaison with government and regulatory agencies for EHS-related matters.
Monitor changes in environmental, health, and safety regulations and ensure timely implementation.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related Engineering course.
At least 5 years of experience as a Pollution Control Officer (PCO) or Safety Officer, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
Strong knowledge of ISO Environmental Management Systems and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
Strong understanding of local and national environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Experience with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Certification is an advantage.
Proven experience in audits, risk assessment, incident investigation, corrective action, and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
