Job summary

Kruger M&E Industries Corp is seeking an EHS Officer/PCO to plan, implement, monitor, and continuously improve the company’s EHS programs in alignment with laws and standards. The role covers OSH, environmental management, first aid, and regulatory compliance while supporting the HR/Admin department.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited PCO, DOLE accreditation as Safety Officer, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and 3–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Technology, Environmental Management, or related field.
• Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO).
• DOLE-accredited Safety Officer.
• Certified First Aider.
• 3–5 years of relevant EHS/OSH experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the OSH Program in coordination with the OSH Committee.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and promote workplace safety, health, and environmental programs.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
• Perform periodic risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor compliance with safety rules and applicable government regulations.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, near misses, and recommend preventive measures.
• Prepare and maintain safety reports, records, and documentation for management and regulators.
• Conduct mandatory safety orientation and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Provide immediate first aid and lifesaving care to injured employees until medical help arrives.
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
