Goldilocks Bakeshop Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to lead our site safety program within a manufacturing environment.
The role focuses on implementing EHS programs, conducting inspections, supervising OSH Committee, investigations, training, and ensuring compliance with ISO and local regulations. Implement and maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Establish, support, and facilitate Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Committee operations and activities.
Lead incident and accident investigations in coordination with the OSH Committee, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions.
Conduct and oversee facility-level risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate workplace hazards.
Monitor and manage regulatory compliance activities, ensuring adherence to all applicable EHS laws and standards.
Ensure site readiness for internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
Participate in coordination activities, including EHS huddles, daily management meetings, and updates to the site's Physical Safety Board.
Develop, facilitate, and deliver site-specific EHS training programs to enhance employee awareness and compliance.
Prepare and maintain EHS reports, records, and documentation as required.
Perform other EHS-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Graduate ofBachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental or Occupational Health Sciences
With three3 years’ experience in implementing Environment, Health and Safety management in a manufacturing set up.
With background in Food Manufacturing/ Manufacturing Operations
Strong technical knowledge in safety processes such as HIRAC, Incident Management, Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis, Emergency Preparedness Management, Behavioral Based Safety, HSE Auditing, Management of Change, key concepts of ISO 14001 and 4500
Preferably withpreviousaccreditation as PCO by EMB or LLDACertifications / Training (Required or Preferred)
40 Hours Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training–Required
Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control Training – Required
40 Hours Basic Pollution ControlTraining – Required
First Aid / Emergency Response Training – Preferred
ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and 9001Awareness– Preferred
Internal Auditor Training (ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and 9001)–Preferred
