Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management seeks an experienced EHS professional in the Philippines to lead our safety and environmental programs. This role requires at least 5 years of experience as a Pollution Control Officer or Safety Officer in an industrial setting, with strong knowledge of local and national regulations.

You will develop, implement, and monitor ISO-based EMS and OHSMS, conduct risk assessments, audits, and training, and promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical) or related fields.
• Minimum 5+ years as Pollution Control Officer or Safety Officer in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Deep knowledge of ISO EMS and OHSMS.
• Experience with RCBA Certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of local and national EHS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations.
• Provide employee training and promote a strong safety and environmental culture.
• Plan and execute company-wide audits and implement corrective actions.

Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Environment, Health, and Safety programs to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements. Conducts risk assessments, safety inspections, incident investigations, and employee training while promoting a strong safety and environmental culture across the organization.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in B.S. Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related engineering courses.
• At least five (5) or more years of experience as a Pollution Control Officer or Safety Officer in industrial/manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO Environmental Management System, Occupational Health, and Safety Management System.
• Experience in Responsible Business Alliance Certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the local and national regulations on Environment and Health.
