Job summary

A Japanese manufacturing company in Sto. Tomas, Batangas is urgently hiring an EHS Staff (Safety Officer III) on direct hire.

This on-site role supports operations with safety, health and environmental duties, ensuring compliance and rapid response to incidents. Key tasks include maintaining firefighting and emergency equipment, conducting trainings, developing safety programs, inspecting gear, and investigating accidents to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Complete 40-hour OSH training.
• Complete 48 hours of advanced OSH training.
• At least 2 years OSH experience in manufacturing.
• Must have BOSH SO3 or LCM certificate.
• Willing to work in FPIP, Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
• Prefer ASAP start.
• Experience: 1–3 years.

Responsibilities

• Support operations with safety and maintenance requirements.
• Maintain firefighting and emergency equipment readiness.
• Respond to plant emergencies using company procedures.
• Develop and implement OSH, emergency response, and enviro programs.
• Conduct trainings on OSH, emergency response, environment protection.
• Inspect safety equipment and ensure readiness.
• Facilitate safety meetings and promote continuous improvement.
• Prepare reports on safety inspections, audits and investigations.
• Investigate workplace accidents to identify root causes.
