Job summary

ENGIE Services (Philippines) seeks an EHS professional to implement and monitor workplace safety programs across sites in the Metro Manila region. You will lead risk assessments, conduct audits, and drive regulatory compliance while supporting site teams in safety initiatives.

The role requires a 4-year engineering background, SO2/SO3 certification or equivalent, and 2–3 years in a similar function, with proven leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year or engineering course.
• Certified Safety Officer (SO2/SO3) preferred.
• Advance safety related training and certification.
• 40 hours Bureau prescribed training and certified – BOSH/COSH.
• Basic facilities management or construction management background.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar function.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Monitor control measures for identified hazards.
• Support risk assessments and safety methodologies.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe acts and conditions.
• Prepare incident investigation reports and corrective actions.
• Track closure of corrective actions and maintain records.
• Conduct EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
• Develop and deliver safety awareness campaigns and trainings.
• Support competency development in health, safety, and environment.
• Promote employee engagement in EHS initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with DOLE OSH standards and regulations.
• Assist regulatory inspections and audits.
• Review contractor EHS qualifications and documentation.
• Monitor contractor safety compliance and participate in evaluations.
• Conduct contractor safety orientations and inspections.
• Prepare monthly EHS reports and monitor KPIs.
• Maintain EHS records, statistics and documentation.
• Present EHS performance updates in management meetings.
